1. Are there any prepayment penalties associated with Pay Monthly loans?

No, there are no prepayment penalties.

 

2. Do I have to pay off my loan prior to travelling?

No, you do not need to pay off your loan prior to traveling. You do need to allow a few days between booking and your departure date for things to process. Other than that, you are free to travel whenever - even before you're all paid off.

 

3. How do I change some information on my itinerary?

Please contact your travel provider directly to cancel your trip.

 

5. Where is my refund?

Once you have canceled your trip with your travel provider, they will issue whatever refund is owed to us. When the refund is received by us, we will apply the amount towards your loan balance. If the refund amount is more than what is owed on your loan balance, we will issue a refund to your card on file. If the amount is less than what is owed on your loan balance, you will need to review your Pay Monthly account here in order to view your remaining loan balance.

 

6. How do I apply for a Pay Monthly loan?

The Pay Monthly loan application is located in the travel provider’s checkout page. Once you apply, you will receive a quick decision. If approved for a loan, you will be provided with the available loan terms. If you accept any of the loan terms that are offered, you can proceed with completing your booking.

 

7. How do I make my loan payments?

You can make a payment anytime by clicking here and selecting the Loans tab. From there, click the Make a Payment button. We recommend that you enable AutoPay at time of purchase so that your payments are automatically deducted each month. If you don’t have AutoPay enabled, visit upgrade.com/pay click on the Accounts page, and set the AutoPay toggle to ON.

 

8. Can I change the card I make loan payments from?

Yes, you can change the card your payments are debited from by clicking here.

 

9. Can I use the Pay Monthly option if I am not a traveler on the trip?

No, you would have to be a traveler on the trip in order to apply for Pay Monthly.

 

10. Can I change the due date on my loan for the duration of the loan?

You can't change when your loan payments are due, but you can delay a payment up to 15 days after your original payment date by signing in to upgrade.com/pay. This request will not affect future payment due dates. You will be responsible for any additional interest that accrues.
