You betcha! Put them in a bag and get ready to hit the slopes, or the lake.  Ski equipment (water or snow) is charged as a standard checked bag.  Please be mindful overweight (over 40 pounds /18.1 kg) and oversized (over 62 inches / 157.48) baggage costs more.

One (1) item of checked ski/snowboard equipment counts as one (1) checked bag and includes:

  • 1 pair of skis, 1 pair of ski poles and 1 pair of ski boots, or
  • 1 snowboard and 1 pair of snowboard boots.

If the ski/snowboard boots are packed separately, they must be in a ski/snowboard boot bag to be considered part of the 1 piece of checked baggage. Loose (unpacked) ski/snowboards boots are not accepted as checked baggage.

A limited liability release will need to be signed when traveling with skis or snowboards.
